Upek is the global leader in biometric fingerprint security, providing OEM hardware and software solutions. Upek first approached Busse Design to evaluate the usability of their software, and extended the project to create a product demonstration to address some of the issues uncovered. Upek later reconnected with Busse to create a proof-of-concept demonstration of potential uses for their biometric scanner when integrated on a mobile phone.
