Navis engaged Busse Design to update the generic look of their SPARCS N4 logistics management application and make it more usable by its 2 distinct audience types. SPARCS N4 is a powerful SWING application, but it was originally created for power users and it was designed using the standard SWING component library. Busse Design updated the layout of the screens for power users, and created a new casual user mode with a lighter feature set for users who only needed to see certain key pieces of information on a less frequent basis. Once the layout was finalized, we developed a branded look and feel for the application.
